PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

1. Phenol is colorless crystals
2. Very odorous and can use as antiseptic
3. Small part of phenol can soluble in water and small part of water can dissolve in liquid phenol too
4. Mixture of phenol with 5-6% water can formed liquid at regular temperature.
5. The phenol solution in water is called carbolic or carbolic acid.
